EA’s Mass Effect & Plants vs. Zombies Mash-up Teased, Dragon Age on Xbox One & Wolfenstein 3D Re-released
A lot is in store for the E3 2013 this month, and it may already involve mash ups of two games, plus the inclusion of a new one from Electronic Arts.
In a recent Twitter teaser, EA teased a "Grass Effect," the supposed mash-up of Mass Effect and Plants vs. Zombies, the latter of which is slated for its much-awaited sequel this year.
According to GameSpot, the Facebook features the image of the plants in the game, captioned with "Plants vs.... Reapers?"
But it seems that that is the most that players will get, as the post includes hints of E3 2013, where everything gaming-related will most probably be revealed.
Watch out for EA's E3 2013 briefing, which will be on June 10. Aside from this, a hinted "Dead Face" game may also be part of the mash-up. There is also a shout out to another one of EA' s games, Medal of Honor, in the photo above, which showcases the sunflower plant in Plants vs. Zombies, with the words "Petal of Honor" on the visual, and "Tier 1 Sunflowers #EAE3" on the caption.
There's just too much waiting for EA's panel this June.
Xbox One to get Dragon Age 3?
The upcoming role-playing game from Electronic Arts and BioWare has recently been spotted for the Xbox One in a listing on Amazon Italy, according to IGN.
In the report, the only information that was given was a placeholder release date of January 1, 2020. The game has already been officially announced to operate on current-gen technology Frostbite 2, but there have also been rumors, thanks to an employee information slip-up online that it may also head to the next generation consoles.
No confirmations have been made as of yet, but publisher EA may take advantage of the E3 2013 to clear up some things or proceed with announcements of their future plans for the game.
Bethesda goes for a re-release of Wolfenstein
Whether it's to hype up the upcoming game or because of added features, Bethesda has re-released the 2009 game Wolfenstein 3D on Xbox Live and PS Network.
Eurogamer reports that it's already available for $4.99 on the PlayStation and 400 MS Points on the Xbox. This may be a great time to review the game and know what may come with The New Order when it releases this December.
