The role-playing game from Bethesda Softworks, Skyrim, is the fifth instalment of the Elder Scrolls series. The player's task is to defeat the dragon Alduin who is prophesied to destroy the world. But could it destroy such a being without the power needed to achieve it? Here are the solutions to gain divine knowledge for unlimited level, money and access to god mode.

Skyrim Cheats for Windows PC

1. Cheat Codes:
During the game, press ~ to activate the console window and type one of the codes you desire to activate. Press Enter key to put them into effect. Click here for the complete list of cheat codes.

2. Infinite Skill Level
This trick requires a house you own with an alchemy lab in it. Get an Oghma Infinium book but do not read it. Now, go to your house and open the bookshelf. Read the Oghma Infinium book then select the select skill set to assign on the skill you want to gain. Close only the book, not the bookshelf, then store it there. After that, take the book from the shelf, but do not read it. Repeat the same process as many times as you want.

3. Duplicate Apparel Items
Place any apparel on a mannequin then put the item back to your inventory. Leave the area where the mannequin is and go to a different place instead. Return to the mannequin and find the item inside it. Take the item and repeat the process as desired.

4. No More Weight Limit
Use containers such as a barrel, a box or a chest to store your items if you do not own any house yet. It is recommended to use containers near a quick travel loading location for easy access. Be warned, the game is buggy and supposedly these containers should hold your items without any time limit, but there is no guarantee that they will not disappear.

5. Invincible Dog Companion
Go to Falkreath and search for a smith named Lod. Lod will ask you to find his dog and you will find his dog, Barbas, outside of the village. Barbas will take you to the Shrine of Clavicus Vile. Speak to Daedra Lord and Barbas will accompany you until you finish the "A Daedra's Best Friend" quest. The dog is considered a quest item which cannot be killed but attack enemies approaching you.

Skyrim Cheats for Xbox 360

1. Sneaking while Moving Faster
Start sneaking then draw your box while moving and in this manner you will move as fast as running without ruining your detection level. If you stop moving and then start again, you will move at regular sneak speed.

2. Unbreakable Lock Pick
The "Darkness Returns" quest of the "Thieves Guild" quest in Riften will reward you an item called the "Skeleton Key." This is a lock pick which cannot be broken. To gain it permanently, keep the item instead of finishing the quest so that you can now open any door or chest anytime.

3. Walk Faster even Encumbered
Use the similar concept for Running while Sneaking, equipping your bow and drawing an arrow back can cause you to move faster even carrying too much weight.

4. Free Training
Enter any guild and befriend trainers inside. Once you have gained their trust, take any training you want and then pick pocket the trainer to get back your money. The guild trainer will look away and won't report it.

5. Fast Horse Swimming
A glitch allows you to make a horse swim faster in deep waters. Dismount and mount the horse to go faster and you'll "run" in the deep water.

Most of these cheats are interchangeable or available to both Windows and Xbox 360. Simple know how to make the console window appear or follow the locations and other requirements to perform the cheat.
