Evasi0n iOS 7 Jailbreak: 'Confidential' Evad3r Update Posted on Twitter? [See iPhone 5S, 5C Photos]
Evasi0n iOS 7 jailbreak is widely expected to arrive shortly after Apple iOS 7 rollout. The popular hackers almost confirmed their new utility in recent Twitter shout-outs. Jailbreakers among iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch users are merely awaiting official release announcements. But a "confidential" remark on the social media site intrigued some netizens.
"We are currently in a reconnaissance phase where we are identifying which exploits we have still work," evad3r @planetbeing announced on Twitter. Prior to that, the evasi0n jailbreaker tweeted, "Since everyone loves updates: @evad3rs have now started to actively look at iOS 7."
A couple of days later, evad3r @pimskeks tweeted, "Working on funny things with @pod2g :)"
Evad3r @pod2g then replied, "being more and more confident about an iOS 7 public jailbreak ;-) [ that does not mean soon ]."
This intriguing reply from @pimskeks was posted on the same day: "hey @pod2g that's confidential."
"Jailbreak for iOS 7 5s 5c coming around 6 months," tweeted @4s_pois0n in reply.
Another user has replied, raising an interpretation to the confidentiality. User @aventacron said, "well, it means he's so confident that thinks there's no need in confidentiality."
Evad3r @pimskeks was possibly merely kidding in his "confidential" remark. But on Twitterverse, the lack of emoticons often mean "serious business."
Apple successfully blocked the evasi0n iOS 6 jailbreak when it rolled out iOS 6.1.3. But @planetbeing announced a month before public release that the evasi0n was not going to work on a new hacking utility - until the next "major" iOS iteration.
Until the recent posts, however, no evad3r has announced that the group is not working on iOS 7 jailbreak. In fact, @planetbeing had said as early as March that there were still exploits left for the evasi0n to work with, but it did not make sense to them at the time to exert effort.
It is only a matter of time before evasi0n iOS 7 jailbreak is announced for public use, according to Apple iOS users. Perhaps the "confidential" matters are the number of exploits the group has found so far, and the date of their new jailbreak release.
