Would-be buyers of the iPhone 5S and all the other iDevices to run on iOS 7 may have to wait a little longer before they can jailbreak their handsets using the Evasi0n platform unlocking tool.

Two things serve as main hurdles for the Evad3rs team to quickly deploy the iOS jailbreak, according to reports by Gotta Be Mobile, pointing to recent Twitter posts from the purported hackers who are working on the fresh exploits.

One major concern for the Evad3rs is the introduction of the A7X 64-bit chip in Apple's 2013 flagship. This ARMv8 chip architecture, according to Evad3rs team member pod2g, is likely to "kill some exploits," that are present in the final iOS 7 build.

Cracking Apple's new system is not entirely impossible but it is a greater challenge, pod2g admitted. He hinted too that successor to the iOS 6 jailbreak could take some time to complete, chiefly on this account.

Then another key consideration as reports surfaced that the tech giant is already working on the iOS 7.1 update, which should prompt the Evad3rs to rework their plans, GBM said on its report.

"There is a belief that no matter how fast progress is made on an iOS 7 jailbreak, the actual release will not come until Apple delivers an iOS 7.1 update," GBM added.

And the safest bet for the iOS 7 patch arrival is in the early months of 2014, thus tipping the jailbreak's unleashing on the same year. Practically, a 2013 debut is out of the question for iPhone users looking to poke deeper inside their gadgets.

That would be some sort of a bad news for the more adventurous iDevice owners but the good news is, this iOS 7 jailbreak is definitely on the way as pod2g twitted too that he is "being more and more confident about an iOS 7 public jailbreak."

The hacker, however, quickly noted that "that does not mean soon," strongly suggesting that more waiting time is needed before the jailbreak gets uncaged.

In the end, the Evasi0n jailbreak will likely hit freshly-minted Apple devices some months after the twin iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C release date on Sept 20 and the iOS 7 rollout, which should be ready for download on Sept 18.
