Apple iDevice users waiting for evasi0n iOS7 jailbreak updates might hear some good news soon. The evad3rs are understood to be either testing or getting ready to test the iOS 7 beta, which has already been released to developers.

"Lots of cool features in iOS 7. The gap between 6 and 7 is huge comparing to 5 and 6. Can't wait to test. Exciting," evad3r @pod2g earlier said on Twitter. Despite lauding the new features, evad3rs are not shy about slamming the aesthetics of the new Apple OS.

"I'm really getting annoyed by the new iOS7 icons. Sorry Apple but the iOS6 and before ones look so much better," evad3r @pimskeks shouted out on Twitter.

Evad3r @pod2g, who quickly reacted to how iOS 7 is the "ugliest" design ever, has a new tweet on the matter: "Cool. Jony Ive said that iOS 7 icons are likely to change for the final release. Let's design them for adults for next round ;-)"

Meanwhile, evad3r @pimskeks reacted to a ZDNet write-up that says jailbreaking will put to waste iOS 7's anti-theft "Activation Lock" feature.

"Since jailbreaking involved bypassing the security features that Apple has built into iOS, a feature like Activation Lock would be useless if all the thief had to do was jailbreak the handset in order to bypass the security feature," writes Adrian Kingsley-Hughes.

In reaction, @pimskeks tweeted: "sorry but this is nonsense - the device must be activated before applying the jailbreak. Requirement for Absinthe & Evasi0n."

From some of the latest tweets of the evad3rs come a bit of hope that an iOS 7 jailbreak is coming. iPhone, iPad and iPod touch users just have to be more patient.
