It appears, according to Gotta Be Mobile, that the latest effort works magic for Apple as developer iH8Snow reportedly confirmed that "the kernel exploit," used by Evad3rs to circumvent iOS 7 has been patched up following the dispatch of the fourth beta.

In a Twitter post on Jan 21, iH8Snow declared that "Kernel exploit looks patched."

Quickly though, he added that "the code sign bug that evasi0n7 uses still exists in 7.1b4."

The statement indicates that the patch deployment was not totally effective. That would mean Team Evad3rs can still poke around on the latest iOS mobile platform. But it was clear that it would be best for jailbroken iPhones and iPads to steer away from this beta 4 release.

The same applies for Evasi0n7 fans using build 7.0.4 of the jailbreaking tool.

Best to do now, per GBM, is "if you're jailbroken, be sure to stay away from iOS 7.1 until the Evad3rs dev team gives the all clear."

And when exactly the green light is coming down or when Evasi0n7 will jump to the final build.

Jailbreak fans would love to believe that once iOS 7.1 becomes official, Team Evad3rs will work as well on bringing out the complete Evasi0n7 version, which of course will circumvent all the corrective measures that Apple engineers have embedded with the four beta dispatches.

The time frame should be between the months of Feb and March then afterwards, Evasi0n7 in its full glory would be unleashed.

Is it possible that the release date can be expected in the immediate weeks or even days after the official iOS 7.1 has become ready for download?

Not necessarily, according to iH8Snow as the dev reminded that Team Evad3rs will need to figure out first the fixes that will be packed in the iOS 7.1. Only then can the group start on its delicate work.

So it should be a few more weeks to count, between now and March 2014, prior to the issuance of a truly stable and perfectly working Evasi0n7.

But it doesn't mean that jailbreak fans need to hold off that long. The Evad3rs unlocker is ready to use but those planning to jailbreak should keep in mind that upgrading to iOS 7.1 beta 4 could leave them locked out from the Evasi0n7 universe.

And the reasons abound to jailbreak now and relish Evasi0n7 on its current form as the tool is paired smoothly with Cydia, as it should be, which means jailbroken iPhones and iPads can enjoy the numerous apps, tweaks and themes already available for them.
