We all know the Apple iPhone 6S and 6s Plus are huge successes, and iPhone fans are clamoring to know more about the successor device, the iPhone 7, due next year.

The internet is rife with speculations about the release date and price of the new iPhone 7. Though Apple hasn’t declared anything officially yet, fans are eagerly looking forward to the latest updates and leaked photos, said News Everyday.

The supposed specs of the iPhone 7 are generating massive buzz among the tech crowd and are generally quite confusing since there’s a lot of these alleged specs out there. But here’s the latest.

Apple has a lot of plans for its next iPhone, according to Gene Munster of Piper Jaffray, a leaker known for his buoyant outlook on Apple and love for TVs. Munster reckons there could be an expanded version of Force Touch feature and also a new slot for a finger reader on the side of the device that no longer needs the Home button.

He also believes the iPhone 7 will have double the battery life of the iPhone 6s, great news for those that can’t get enough of their iPhones.

According to reports in Business Weekly, Altek CEO Xiaru Wen thinks Apple has been pursuing dual lens technology over the past few years and has plans to introduce the technology to its many devices, including the iPhone 7.

Other reports claim the iPhone 7 will supposedly sport 2GB of RAM and that’s great. Photo enthusiasts will gain from the phone’s new imaging technology aimed at producing better resolution and images. Apple plans to put a smart spin on the iPhone 7 with major changes, reports LearnBonds.

Release date for the iPhone 7 is anticipated to be September 2016. That’s a long way off and the iPhone 7 had better be worth the wait.
