Apple fans are looking forward to the new iPhone 7 with better features after the grand success of iPhone 6 and 6s Plus. Word has it Apple intends to introduce revolutionary changes by using Samsung’s OLED display on the iPhone 7 and include big, new features.

Going by past experience, it seems certain the iPhone 7 will be better than the iPhone 6 and 6s Plus, if not the best. As for now, however, excitement is building over the iPhone 7 as it approaches its release date. Despite efforts to keep information about the phone secret, leaks keep appearing and here’s what we can glean from them.

Display

Reports say Apple plans to buy OLED screens from Samsung for its iPhone 7. Recent iPhones used outdated LCD panels that made images look dull. This problem should go away with OLEDs, a screen technology whose advanced features include far better imaging.

The Apple Watch was recently in the spotlight for using OLED displays sourced from Samsung and LG. Apple has yet to confirm rumors OLEDs are coming to the iPhone 7 but we should learn more in November, according to Alphr.

Features

It won’t be an improved version this time, but a completely new upgrade for the iPhone 7. Apart from a few features similar to the iPhone 6s, the new device will have an improved camera integrated with Touch ID 2 sensors. Expect to have a 3D touch in it, too.

Release Date

Based on past Apple release dates, chances are the iPhone 7 will be rolled-out around Sept. 9, 2016. This is the same day the iPhone 6s Plus was released this year. There could be a double bonanza for users with the announcement of the Apple Watch 2 release alongside that of the iPhone 7, reported The Inquirer.
