Facebook Messenger Tips and Tricks
Most people only use Facebook Messenger to chat with friends on Facebook. Many are not aware about the cool features Facebook is adding to its standalone messenger app. Here are some of the features and tips and tricks on Facebook Messenger.
Voice Record and Call
Like most mobile messaging apps, Facebook Messenger has free calling and voice recording functionalities. Android Pit says for users to make a free call, just tap on the phone icon located at the top part of the messenger window. Tap the "Write a message" text box, then tap on the microphone button to make a voice notation.
Take Photos and Videos
Users can take photos directly on your Facebook Messenger. Simply tap the "Write a message" text box. See that little camera icon? Tap that and the keyboard space turns into a mini viewfinder. This can be enlarged to full view by tapping on the left button. Users may also switch between the front and rear camera by tapping on the right button. Similarly, users may take videos instead by holding the send button.
Send a Big Like
The thumbs up feature or the Like icon has already become a staple on Facebook Messenger. But many users are not aware that they can turn this small icon into a massive one. This can be done simply by pressing and holding the like button until it reaches its biggest size.
Know the Details of a Specific Message
Phone Arena notes that there is a way to check the details of specific messages sent to users. To know the specific time at which a message has been sent, just click on that message, and the app will display the date and exact time under that message.
Search Image via Bing
While on the Facebook chatbox, users can search for images via Bing by tapping on the paperclip icon on the left, then picking "Image Search". Type on the Search box, and pick and send a photo from the results by tapping on it.
