Perhaps one of the best things about the recently released open-world roleplaying game (RPG) “Fallout 4”is its massive world and several features to explore. Aside from the base features in the title, players can also enhance and expand their experience within the game through user-created mods. A recently discovered mod ups the ante by further expanding the roster of companions for “Fallout 4” and allowing players to recruit the creatures roaming the Commonwealth.

A Creature Follower ESP mod available at Nexusmods gives players access to a wide selection of creatures as companions. Among these creatures are Yao Guais, Mutant Hounds, Vicious Dogs, Radscorpions, Raider Dogs and Gorillas. They could also recruit humanoid enemies like the first- and second-generation Synth and Super Mutant Behemoths.

To make their journey in the Commonwealth easier, players could even employ the aid of the most notorious creatures in “Fallout”: the Deathclaws. Another odd option is the addition of a recruitable cat companion, which, unlike Dogmeat, can’t attack.

All the creatures have the same features of the game’s set companions like Preston Garvey and Nick Valentine. The only difference with the creature companions is they don’t have a relationship dialogue.

What’s even better is that players can have the game’s prescribed companions with them along with the creature companions. Basically, they could have Dogmeat and a Deathclaw in their adventures at the same time.

A lot of other mods for “Fallout 4” can be seen at PCGamer.
