‘Fallout 4’ players discover highly detailed structures underwater in the Commonwealth
Just last week, players discovered a weapon hidden in the codes of Bethesda’s “Fallout 4.” The weapon in question is a harpoon gun, which, when used via a mod, releases bubbles that players may find in underwater levels. A new discovery by gamers further hint that there may be an underwater DLC level unveiled by Bethesda.
A Reddit user happened to fall in the explorable ocean of the Commonwealth. Luckily, the player was wearing a Power Armor at the time, so oxygen reserves were at his disposal, meaning he had time to explore the depths for an extended amount of time.
While exploring, the player discovered several well-detailed structures. However, there was no item or collectible to grab; all there was in the ocean were sights to see. The player then shared a gallery of his discoveries on Imgur. The images further strengthen the rumours that an underwater level/battle is supposedly a part of “Fallout 4.”
Aside from the new discovery, several players have already uncovered some noteworthy items in the sea of the Commonwealth. They include Power Armor frames, ammo caches, submarines and more.
Bethesda has yet to respond about the recent discoveries. When the harpoon gun was uncovered last week, Bethesda ignored it and even allowed the use of the harpoon gun mod. The harpoon gun is somewhat of a hybrid of the railway gun found in “Fallout 4.” The only difference is that bubbles appear around the gun when it is used.
What this could also mean is that underwater areas might be included in the possible “Fallout 4” DLC lineup. Bethesda has said before that it will listen to fan feedback as basis of the DLCs, and with the discoveries made by the players, owners of “Fallout 4” could soon be travelling under the seas of the Commonwealth.
