Without Steve Job's existence, there wouldn't be no trusty MacBook's that yuppie and graphic designers rely on, nor would there be iPod's or iTouche's to titillate the fancy of the music lover. No iPads, no iPhones, no paper-thin laptops. The world of technology owes a lot to Steve jobs, but little do everyone know that there's a funky and sily side of the biliion-dollar mogul.
1. In the 80's, Steve Jobs wasn't your ordinary geek who didn't do well on girls. Mr. Jobs was a self-confessed-hippie who did everything a male flowerchild would do. Jobs was allegedly linked to the stunning folk singer, Joan Baez, during the 80's.
2. Steve Jobs was the living proof that hippies don't end up as bums. It was reported that Jobs enjoyed his college life so much that he "smoked" marijuana and took LSD during his first semester at Reed College in Oregon. Not long after dropping out, Jobs became one of the richest and most successful people in the country.
3. Steve Jobs rubbed elbows with President Ronald Raegan when he received the National Medal of Technology in 1984.
4. From being a pot-smoking college dropout, Jobs went on to become Fortune Magazine's "The Most Powerful Personin Business" in 2007 after Apple's rise to the technology market.
5. Steve Jobs was inducted to the California Hall of Fame in 2007.
6. Steve Jobs nabbed the coveted Forbes Magazine "CEO of the Decade" in 2009
7. Forbes Magazine placed Jobs in their "Most Powerful People in the World" in the umber 57th spot.
8. Steve Jobs was given the "Person of the Year" recognition in 2010.
9. The reason why Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak named the company "Apple" is because it came before the word "Atari" in a random phone book they saw.
