Fergie regrets accepting money from convicted pedophile
Duchess of York, Sarah Ferguson has apologized for accepting money from a pedophile
Duchess of York, Sarah Ferguson has continued to displease the Royal Family and is now in hot water again after reports came out that she had accepted money from a pedophile.
According to PeopleMagazine.com, the ex-wife of Prince Andrew has issued a formal apology when her name was linked to a convicted U.S. sex offender and pedophile, Jeffrey Epstein. Ferguson was reported to have received a $24,500 loan from Epstein.
The former Duchess of York has clarified however, that she was unaware of Epstein’s criminal activities at the time she came to him for financial help.
"I am just so contrite I cannot say," Fergie was quoted as saying by People citing the report by the Evening Standard.
The Duchess then vowed to return what was loaned and not to be associated with the convicted pedophile.
She said, "Whenever I can, I will repay the money and will have nothing to do with Jeffrey Epstein ever again."
Unlike her former husband and two children, Fergie is not invited to the Royal Wedding on April 29 between Prince William and Kate Middleton.
