FIFA 14 rumored for Xbox 720 & PS4; Deadpool Preorder Bonuses & Telltale Readies Poker Night 2
With the holidays nearing, games in development are now looking to have more potential in coming out for the next-gen consoles Xbox 720 and PS4.
Among these rumored games is EA's upcoming FIFA 14, which has been recently announced for release on the Xbox 360, PS3, and PC, reports Gamerzone. However, there is also a hint that it can be released in other platforms, and probably even the next-gen counterparts.
"Additional platforms will be revealed in the months ahead," said EA's official press release as quoted by Gamerzone.
This can also mean that the platforms that have not been included in the official announcement, such as the Wii U, PlayStation Vita, and Nintendo 3DS still have a chance to get their versions of the game, reports EuroGamer.
EA has not yet announced any release dates for the new game, but considering the timeline, it could very well make it alongside the release of the next-gen consoles, prompting potential versions for the Xbox 720 and PS4.
Telltale lets you win money for other games in Poker Night 2
Character crossovers and winnings for each game-these are what Poker Night 2 promises gamers.
EuroGamer Reports that, with the release of Telltale Games' Poker Night 2 next week, you can get new skins for games like Borderlands 2, which will be based on characters from other games, including Max of Sam& Max, Brock Samson from The Venture Bros, GLaDOS from Portal, and Ash of Army of Darkness.
Game Informer adds that you can also earn Team Fortress 2 items if you're playing via Steam, new themes for the PS3 players, and avatar props for those on the Xbox 360.
Poker Night 2 will be released on the XBLA, PlayStation Network, and PC and Mac. See the trailer below to get a glimpse of the unlock modes.
Order Deadpool game early to get bonuses
If you're interested in getting the Deadpool game, it's high time to place your order in either Amazon or GameStop and EB Games.
GameSpot reports that those who will preorder via Amazon will get $5 credit for specified Marvel graphic novels, which includes Deadpool Vol 1: Dead Presidents, Dead Pool Vol 1: Secret Invasion, Deadpool Kills the Marvel Universe, Deadpool Vol 2: Dark Reign, and Deadpool Vol 3: X Marks the Spot.
For those who will order in retail at GameStop and EB Games can get the Merc with a Map Pack containing twomaps. PowerUp Rewards members in GameStop will also get Deadpool digital wallpapers.
This comes in light of news of layoffs some days ago, when Activision released a statement confirming that layoffs were conducted.
"With the completion of development on Deadpool, we are taking a reduction in staff at High Moon Studios to better align our development talent against our slate," said Activision's statement as quoted by Destructoid.
Hopefully, the release of Deadpool, the added bonuses, and the game itself will create a turnaround for the studios. Here's the gameplay trailer of the upcoming Marvel game.
