If there would be the slightest chance that "Sexiest Man Alive" Ryan Gosling would play Christian Grey in "Fifty Shades of Grey", would "Harry Potter's" Emma Watson jump in at once to play Anastasia Steele? Emma did admit to wanting to play the racy role back in an interview. With casting still far off, does the pairing Emma and Ryan sound great for "Fifty Shades" fans?

E.L. James best-selling erotica novels, "Fifty Shades of Grey" continue to be buzzed about. Even Hollywood celebrities are hooked on the S&M novels that it isn't surprising to hear stars expressing interest in the roles of Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele.

Casting is still far off schedule given a suitable director still hasn't been found by Universal Studios. With Kelly Marcel still finishing the script, it'll be a miracle if the film does push through its' release by summer of 2014. With that though in mind, fans of the BDSM-themed novels are keeping busy rounding up celebrities perfect to play the lead roles of Anastasia Steele and Christian Grey.

Matt Bomer of "White Collar" and Alexis Bledel of "Gilmore Girls" is the current couple favourite on the web as Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele respectively. Emilia Clarke of "Game of Thrones" and Henry Cavill of "Man of Steel" come in at second place. With two couple pairs on the rise, it's definitely time to put in a bit of added competition.

Ryan Gosling has been slated to play the 27-year old businessman since last year. The star however lost the running to then-favourite, Ian Somerhalder of "The Vampire Diaries." Yet, with a new year on the rise it'll be great to bring back Gosling in. Who would best be paired with the star? Why not Emma Watson of the famous "Harry Potter" franchise?

Nina Dobrev did state Emma Watson would love to play Anastasia Steele as long as Gosling would play Christian. The "Perks of a Wallflower" star opened all about this in an interview back in September.

"She's laughing, a bit nervously, as I'm sure everyone was when they first read those books," explained Dobrev, adding, "But she'd want to do it if Ryan [Gosling] was going to be Christian. I guess that's all it takes."

Watson is yet to show off her adult moves and considering "Fifty Shades" has a whole lot of them then it'll be quite the role to play for the 22-year old actress. Still, considering the likely chemistry, does the pairing between Ryan Gosling and Emma Watson appeal to the fans of "Fifty?"
