'Fifty Shades of Grey' Movie: Aaron Taylor-Johnson Claims Sam Taylor-Wood Has 'Wicked Artistic Vision' For Film
Aaron Taylor-Johnson may be out of the running for Christian Grey in the highly anticipated film adaptation of "Fifty Shades of Grey" but that isn't stopping him from making rave comments on it. In fact, Aaron has nothing but praises for his wife, Sam Taylor-Wood, who is set to direct the raunchy film. According to Johnson, Director Sam Taylor-Wood has got "wicked artistic vision" for the film.
Since the announcement that British director Sam Taylor-Wood nabbed the role of directing the film adaptation of "Fifty Shades of Grey", fans instantly claimed that her husband, Aaron, would probably nab the part of Christian Grey. Of course, Johnson cleared those rumours up immediately.
"I am not Christian Grey. I mean, he is supposed to be the most gorgeous man on the f***ing planet! And I am not old enough," says Aaron in an interview with Metro.
"I know, and Sam knows, that I'm definitely not Christian Grey and that film is all about casting", continued Aaron in another interview with Entertainment Wise, adding "It's just a really nice break for me to step back and support her for a while. I think she's super talented I'd love to work with her again no questions asked but this isn't the one."
As for his wife, Sam taking on the role of directing the film, Aaron had nothing but great things to say.
"I am thrilled she is doing it. She got the job and overnight it went crazy. But Sam is incredible," said Taylor Johnson, adding, "She is totally the right person to take it to a whole other level of class."
"I'm super happy for her and I think she's got wicked artistic vision on it," continued Aaron.
With the film adaptation set for release by August 24, 2014, fans are only hoping that Sam Taylor-Wood does manage to impress with the final outcome of the film. For now, finding stars for the part of Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele is all that matters to fans of E.L. James.
