While "Fifty Shades of Grey" author, E.L. James has announced that the movie casting is still far off schedule, that isn't stopping fans from coming up with lists of potential stars fit to play the lead roles of Anastasia Steele and Christian Grey. Given Hollywood is filled with beautiful and talented women, it's best to start of alphabetically in naming possible actresses for Anastasia Steele. Here are five Hollywood stars with an "A" to play Anastasia Steele.

Alexis Bledel of "Gilmore Girls" is currently number one on various Web polls. A lot of "Fifty Shades" fans completely agree that the brunette blue-eyed beauty strikingly bears a resemblance to Anastasia Steele's description in the book. Bledel may be a bit overaged for the role of the 22-year-old college student, but everyone can agree that Alexis doesn't look a day older the age of 20.

However, fans might have a little trouble pinning down Alexis Bledel for the role. According to sources, Bledel is set to sign up for a FOX sitcom titled "Friends & Family." FOX management thinks this sitcom will be as popular as Zooey Deschanel's show, "New Girl."

Of course, Alexis isn't the only potential star for the role with the name starting in "A." Next up is Ashley Benson of "Pretty Little Liars." The newly brunette-haired star had expressed interest in the role of Anastasia Steele back in 2012.

"I've read every book. I want to play Anastasia. Kate is awesome. I like all the characters but Anastasia? I love her so much!" said Benson in an interview with Celebuzz in May 2012.

Another lovely brunette with the name starting in "A" fit for the role of Steele is "Twilight" actress, Ashley Greene. Kristen Stewart has been announced as out of the running for the role of Ana as announced by James in September of 2012. Given that announcement, "Twihards" consider Greene as the best replacement for Stewart. Anna Kendrick from "Twilight" has also been attached to the role of Ana, following her Q&A on "Watch What Happens Live" in 2012.

Hot blonde, Amanda Seyfried, is also one potential star fit to play Anastasia. Given Seyfried had already played a porn star in the biopic, "Linda Lovelace" then it would be easy for her to act out the sexual and racy roles in the "Fifty Shades" film.
