The "Harry Potter" star, Emma Watson, has been one of the most loved actresses to play Anastasia Steele in the film adaptation of "Fifty Shades of Grey." However, fans aren't likely to see Emma in the racy role given she had already slammed rampant rumours on the casting. While this Emma is irreplaceable as a potential actress, here are a few other Emma's worthy of the role of Ana.

E.L. James best-selling erotica novels, "Fifty Shades of Grey" continue to be buzzed about. With a film adaptation in the works by Universal Studios, it isn't the least bit surprising to hear fans go gaga over the announcement. Casting may be scheduled far off but that doesn't mean fans aren't coming up with their own lists of potential stars fit to play the lead roles of Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele.

Leading in various web polls for the casting of Christian Grey is "White Collar" star, Matt Bomer. Henry Cavill of "Man of Steel" follows at second while Ian Somerhalder of "The Vampire Diaries" comes in at third place. A few other notable favourites include trainer, Jessie Pavelka, Chace Crawford and Ed Westwick of "Gossip Girl" and Taylor Lautner of "Twilight."

As for the role of Anastasia Steele, Alexis Bledel of "Gilmore Girls" continues to be on top. Bledel is closely followed by Emilia Clarke of "Game of Thrones" while Felicity Jones of "Like Crazy" follows suit. Of course, a few other note-worthy actresses on the list include Emma Watson, Ashley Greene, Troian Bellisario, Ashley Benson and Lucy Hale.

Watson has been rumoured to play the role of the 22-year-old college student since 2012. A rumour had even gone out that Watson had been confirmed for the role. Yet, it was Emma Watson herself who slammed the rampant rumours with a pissed tweet which is as follows.

"Who here actually thinks I would do 50 Shades of Grey as a movie? Like really. For real. In real life," stated Emma, later adding a question mark.

Clearly, Watson is out of the running which leaves other actresses to fight on for the role. Emma may prove lovely for the role but there are still a few notable Emma's in the business who could play the role of Steele. Check out the slideshow to see more of them.
