Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart aren't the only "Twilight" stars greatly considered for the lead roles in the upcoming film adaptation of "Fifty Shades of Grey." In fact, Ashley Greene and Kellan Lutz have also been eyed for the iconic roles of Anastasia Steele and Elliot Grey. As of late, Lutz is the strongest contender for the role of Christian Grey's older brother.

While some fans are constantly watching out for news about who would play Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele, a few are on the look-out for the potential Elliot Grey. Last week, Alex Pettyfer, who was in the running for Christian Grey, had been reconsidered for the role of Elliot instead. Now, the latest favourite for the part is "Twilight" star, Kellan Lutz.

Unlike Pattinson and Stewart who have read and heard of the novels by E.L. James, Lutz isn't aware of the film. Yet, Kellan has heard of the role his fans are rooting him to play.

"I've been hearing about that! I haven't read the books; I need to though. The fans saw similarities between Emmett and Elliot. I don't know much about either," said Kellan back in an interview in 2012.

"I know Christian is the lead but that's why I didn't want to play Edward [Cullen, in Twilight]. He wasn't really like me. I'll trust the fans," added Lutz.
