In an interesting turn of events, another actress has expressed interest in starring as Anastasia Steele in the upcoming film adaptation of "Fifty Shades of Grey." The latest face up for the part would count as the most unexpected players for Ana. Still, would "Fifty" fans agree with La La Anthony playing Anastasia Steele?

July is almost at its end but still no news from Universal Studios and Focus Features about an official cast. Even author E.L. James has kept mum about the film adaptation but she had much to say about the director, Sam Taylor-Johnson.

"She's creative, incredibly talented, she's got an extraordinary eye," said James, adding, "She had a good idea about the whole 'Fifty' experience, she understands it. And I thought, There's a woman I can go and get drunk with."

As for the cast, there isn't much lead to go on about. Yet, fans of "Fifty Shades" have been keeping busy naming one potential star to the next. Over a hundred celebrities have been named as suitable stars for the lead roles of Christian Grey, Anastasia Steele, Kate Kavanagh and Elliot Grey. The latest actress up for the part of Ana is that of La La Anthony.

"That book spread like wildfire everywhere," says Anthony, adding, "It went from one person knowing about it to every person you ran into talking about it... so if the opportunity came, I'd do it."

MTV's La La Anthony thinks she has what it takes to play Ana. The actress is up against a few qualified Hollywood celebs for the part of which include Alexis Bledel of "Gilmore Girls", Emilia Clarke of "Game of Thrones", Mila Kunis of "That 70s show" and Kristen Stewart of "Twilight."
