All thanks to the latest film Matt Damon is starring in, the actor has been considered as a potential to play the role of Christian Grey. This isn't new given Matt Damon has also been considered for the BDSM-themed role in the past. Would Damon consider playing the S&M role of Christian Grey?

"Fifty Shades of Grey" fans are patiently waiting for the announcement of an official cast. However, casting might not take place anytime soon given Focus Features and Universal Studios are currently seeking for a suitable director. Even the script written by Kelly Marcel is unfinished at the moment which certainly means casting for Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele may take a while.

In the midst of the entire wait, fans of E.L. James best-selling erotica novel have kept themselves busy with countless lists which have named possible Hollywood stars to play the lead roles. As of late, the leading name on polls to play the role of Anastasia Steele is Emilia Clarke of "Game of Thrones." Following close to Clarke is Alexis Bledel of "Gilmore Girls", Allison Williams of "Girls" and Nina Dobrev of "The Vampire Diaries."

On the other hand, the male lead Christian Grey has been constantly found favourable to be played by Ian Somerhalder of "The Vampire Diaries." A few other notable favourites include Ian Somerhalder, Stephen Amell, Henry Cavill and Matt Bomer. Yet, Bomer isn't the only Matt eyed for the role. Who would this be? Well, Matt Bomer and all the other actors may have tough competition with Matt Damon.

Since the trailer for "Elysium" made its debut, a lot of "Fifty" fans drooled over Matt Damon's incredibly sexy body. With that hard rock abs, Matt Damon can definitely rock the role of Christian Grey and Anastasia's world with it.

Some "Fifty" fans may see Matt Damon as Christian Grey but others consider him as a potential Elliot Grey, Christian's brother.
