A year from today, the film adaptation of E.L. James best-selling erotica novel, "Fifty Shades of Grey" is set to hit theatres. Yet, would the scheduled release still be as planned given that casting for the film hasn't even begun? Well, to make things easy for the production studio, here are onscreen BFF's that could play the iconic roles of Anastasia Steele and Kate Kavanagh.

Since the BDSM-themed novels hit shelves late last year, the film adaptation is what everyone seems to be talking about nowadays. Obviously, fans of "Fifty Shades of Grey" are dying to hear about casting news let alone auditions for the lead parts. While some are desperate to know who among Hollywood's hottest would nab the lead part of Christian Grey, some want to know who would play Christian's partner, Anastasia Steele and her BFF, Kate Kavanagh.

Quite a few actresses have been named worthy of the roles of Ana and Kate of which include Emilia Clarke and Blake Lively respectively. Still, Universal Studios and Focus Features have yet to announce an official cast. Judging from the amount of actresses up for the part, casting would be relatively easy.
