Joseph Gordon-Levitt has been the latest addition to the "Fifty Shades of Grey" film adaptation hype. All thanks to JGL's directorial debut of "Don Jon", the handsome hunk has been eyed as Christian Grey. Another actor again eyed for the role is Ryan Gosling all thanks to his new film as well, "Only God Forgives." Judging from both films, which star is best set to play Christian: Joseph Gordon-Levitt or Ryan Gosling?

Gosling and Gordon-Levitt are currently two sexy heartthrobs battling it out for the role of Christian Grey in the highly-anticipated film adaptation of "Fifty Shades of Grey." Since the debut of both stars' trailers for their new films, "Fifty Shades" fanatics have eyed them for the role. "Only God Forgives" and "Don Jon" are two new films that involved dominating masochism, drool-worthy sex appeal and charming wits. Yet, which leading man should snag the role as Grey?

First off is "Only God Forgives" Ryan Gosling who looks impeccable as ever in a suit.

"Two official "Only God Forgives" trailers hit YouTube just last month, and they've already garnered over millions of views. According to the New York Daily News, the upcoming film is said to be "gritty, potentially gruesome action flick." The film follows Julian (Gosling), who runs a Thai boxing club as a front organization for his family's drug smuggling operation - he is forced by his mother Jenna to find and kill the individual responsible for his brother's recent death," reports MStars.

On the other hand is "Don Jon" star, Joseph Gordon-Levitt. Obviously, JGL did a lot of working out for the role given the apparent bulge of the biceps and triceps in the trailer. "Don Jon" also paves the way for some more BDSM-action given it's all about porn plus everything else in between. A short synopsis of the film is as follows.

"Jon Martello (Gordon-Levitt) is a modern day "Don Juan" who objectifies everything in his life... especially women. His friends call him Don Jon because of his ability to pull "10s" every weekend without fail. But his addiction to porn has made him dissatisfied with life and he sets out on a journey to find a more gratifying sex life. However, he ends up seeing the bigger picture and learning more about life and love through two different women (Scarlett Johansson as Barbara and Julianne Moore as Esther)."
