Shailene Woodley has long been eyed for the part of Anastasia Steele. On the other hand, Theo James has recently been eyed by producers as a suitable Christian Grey. Given both "Divergent" stars, Theo James and Shailene Woodley are eyed for the lead parts in "Fifty Shades of Grey" shouldn't they star in the film together?

Casting speculation for the film adaptation of E.L. James best-selling erotica novel, "Fifty Shades of Grey" continues. For one, countless names have surfaced as potential actors and actresses for the lead parts of Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele. One strong name and not to mention favourite contender for the part of Anastasia Steele is "Divergent" star Shailene Woodley.

With the innocent look and right age, Shailene Woodley is said to be the "perfect" fit for the part of Anastasia Steele. Woodley isn't the only "Divergent" star eyed for the lead part in the film adaptation of "Fifty Shades of Grey." In fact, news has it that Shailene's love interest in "Divergent", Four played by Theo James, had recently been eyed by producers for the part of Christian Grey. Having eyed both stars from "Divergent" then why not cast them both?

Judging from the chemistry Shailene and Theo have for "Divergent" then it would be easy to transition that chemistry for "Fifty Shades of Grey." The production studio did say a "chemistry test" would be done between the two main characters.

"The casting is not likely to be finalized yet, as auditions still have to take place even after offers are put on the table," said the report, adding, "The chemistry between the two main characters, Christian and Ana, is likely to be a factor."

To save them time, casting Theo James and Shailene Woodley is the best option. Of course, would the "Divergent" stars say yes to the BDSM-themed movie? Check out the slideshow to see more of Theo James and Shailene Woodley, "Divergent" stars eyed for the lead parts in "Fifty Shades of Grey."
