"Fifty Shades of Grey" remains to be the most hyped about upcoming film adaptation. Yet, an official cast has not been announced as of late. For a few fans, casting for Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele is of the highest priority. Others however have switched their attention to the casting of Ana's best friend, Kate Kavanagh. The "Fifty Shades of Grey" film based on E.L. James best-selling erotica novels is set to debut on the big screen by August 2014. To say the least, Universal Studios and Focus Features are making silent moves in casting the big roles of Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele. Countless celebrities have been named as suitable for the iconic roles.

On the other hand, some fans have shifted their attention on other lead characters in the film of which include Elliot Grey and Kate Kavanagh. Currently in the top spot for the role of Elliot Grey are Alex Pettyfer and Kellan Lutz. As for the role of Kate, quite a handful of actresses have been named as the next Ms Kavanagh.
