Filipe Luis revealed that it is hard for him to be happy with his current place as a bit-part player for Chelsea FC. In the summer, Luis was acquired by the club from Atletico Madrid for £16 million but since the acquisition, he has never started a Premier League game.

Chelsea Manager Jose Mourinho has opted to stick with Cesar Azpilicueta than Luis. In fact, Luis' bit-part role in Chelsea is a far cry from the one he left behind at the Vicente Calderon, where played a significant role when Atletico Madrid won the La Liga title.

Many are surprised at the lack of action of Luis in Chelsea given the substantial amount of money involved to acquire him not to mention breaking into the Brazil National team. Just recently, he was named to the starting line-up as he played the full 90 minutes against Sporting CP in Chelsea's first away date in the Champions League.

Although the former Atletico Madrid superstar has been unable to replace Cesar Azpilicueta as a regular in the starting line-up, Luis provides tremendous depth at the position for Mourinho to deploy him when necessary. He has been selected for matches against Bolton Wanderers and Schalke 04.

"Everyone here wants to play. When you do not play, you're not happy at all, but I came here, to Chelsea, to win titles. The team is always more important than any player. The season is very long. Everyone will have their chance and will try to take it," Luis said according to Goal.com.

Luis might be aware of his tough situation to break into the starting seven of Chelsea, when he arrived from Atletico Madrid. On the other hand, Mourinho seems to be willing to rotate his squad, starting Luis in both the Capital One Cup game against Bolton Wanderers and the Champions League games.

Thus far, 29-year-old Luis will be looking to win a place in the Premier League side and to see his Atletico Madrid teammate Diego Costa experiencing a significant success at Stamford Bridge is another motivation for him to up his game with Chelsea FC.
