'The Flash' season 3 spoilers: New Flashpoint storyline reveals how Barry and Iris 'first' meet

The Season 3 premiere of “The Flash” is drawing closer, which was previously revealed to follow the Flashpoint storyline in the comics. It was hinted that one episode may show how Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) and Iris West (Candice Patton) first met.

I n “The Flash” Season 3, Barry will go back in time to try and change things, particularly on whether he should save his mother to have some adjustments in the future. Regardless of how Barry tries to adjust past events, Iris will always be his love and the woman that he longs for, regardless of which point in time he is in.
Candice Patton shared that in “The Flash” Season 3, viewers will see Barry try to woo Iris, based on in the Flashpoint storyline. The scene will be very sweet and reminds the actress of the pilot. Director Kevin Smith agreed that Barry and Iris’s first time together was a special moment, which fans will expectedly enjoy.

Iris in Flashpoint will be very similar to the character that fans have known in the first two seasons of “The Flash,” writes TVLine. They are trying to clarify that regardless of where Barry goes and which timeline or Earth, Iris is his constant in the world and the woman that he will always love. Barry will also be aware of the changes based on the timeline. After joining the S.T.A.R. Labs team, Iris will also be spending more time trying to solve meta human activities with the group.
Yahoo TV reported that there will be a number of new characters in the third season of “The Flash,” including Tom Felton. The “Harry Potter” actor will take on the role of Julian Dorn, a CSI at the Central City Police Department who suspects that Barry is not a regular guy. Wally West (Keiynan Lonsdale) will also be featured as the new speedster, Kid Flash.
According to Patton, some things will also change in Flashpoint. Barry’s choices and trying to change things back in time will have different effects to his family and friends. Everyone will have some alterations, but Iris will be the character who stays as close to the original as possible. Viewers will notice that everyone will be slightly different than before in “The Flash” Season 3. “The Flash” Season 3 will launch on Oct. 4, 2016 on The CW.
