‘FNAF World’ trailer reveals RPG take on hit horror series ’Five Nights At Freddy’s’
“Five Nights At Freddy’s” has a new game scheduled to be released sometime next year, and fans await the new scares and frights the upcoming title will bring. However, the new title looks to be very different from previous “Five Nights At Freddy’s” games, as it channels the classic turn-based Japanese RPG for its gameplay.
Recently, series developer and creater Scott Cawthon revealed a trailer for the upcoming “Five Night’s At Freddy’s World,” also called “FNAF World.” Fans will be surprised with how the series has turned itself from the usual point-and-click first-person game to a more traditional RPG title. The trailer seen below showcases the characters from the beloved series as they battle evil robots using pizza, songs and other odd weapons.
The game itself will feature characters made famous by the “Five Nights At Freddy’s” series. The cast of “Five Night’s At Freddy’s World” include Freddy Fazbear, Chica, Bonnie, Foxy, Toy Freddy, Toy Bonnie, Toy Chica, Mangle, Phantom Freddy, Phantom Chica, Phantom Foxy, Balloon Boy, JJ, Withered Freddy, Withered Chica, Withered Bonnie, Withered Foxy, Puppet, Phantom Puppet, Phantom BB, Funtime Foxy, Nightmare Freddy, Nightmare Chica, Nightmare Bonnie and many more.
It’s not yet clear what the roles of all the characters are and whether or not they will all be playable. Cawthon has revealed “FNAF World” before, and he stated that players will be given access to a slew of characters from the game’s roster.
No release date has been given for the upcoming title, but it could release sometime next year. For now, what’s known is how the game plays, and it looks like a really solid RPG title.
The trailer was made live along with the announcement of the Halloween update for “Five Nights At Freddy’s 4,” which was made available last Oct. 31. The update seen at the Steam page of “Five Nights At Freddy’s 4” adds new challenges and cheats to the game.
