Forget the Galaxy Note 3 Lite, Galaxy Note 3 Neo Hexa-core Leaked
Galaxy Note 3 Lite has been rumored for months now. But new reports point to something different. This device is not close to being "lite" at all and offers something unique to the smartphone market.
According to the documents spotted by GSM Arena there is a new device called the Samsung Galaxy Note Neo, which is the first hexa-core smartphone with specs similar to the Galaxy Note 2. Essentially, the device is all but confirmed in this new leaked internal comparison of Samsung devices.
The new leak revealed the Galaxy Note 3 Neo is an improved and refreshed version of the Galaxy Note 2 offering smaller 5.5 inches screen than the Galaxy Note 3. The Galaxy Note 3 Neo features similar specs as the Galaxy Note 2, except for the hexa-core processor.
Galaxy Note 3 Neo Specs And Features
Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Neo sports 5.55 inches 720p HD AMOLED display, 8 MP sensor rear camera, 3,100 mAh battery, Android 4.3 Jelly Bean with the newest S Pen apps and Airview and the first of its kind hexa-core processor.
According to the documents from GSM Arena, the Galaxy Note 3 Neo has somewhat similar to the quad-core Samsung Exynos at 1.4 GHz and dual-core 1.7 GHz processor, which can handle arduous tasks. Also, it is assumed that once users use the device for more intensive tasks, the smartphone will power up the four cores but this remains to be confirmed.
The size of this device is more similar to the Galaxy Note 3, which is significantly thinner than the Galaxy Note 2. There are no details about the release date of the device from the leak. But previous rumors suggested the Mobile World Congress 2014 release date, which will happen by end of February.
It is quite interesting to see where the Korean tech giant places the new Galaxy Note 3 Neo as compared to the Galaxy Note 3, which sports a quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor in the U.S.
