Free-to-Play DC MOBA Infinite Crisis Games; RuneScape 3 This Summer
Southeast Asia Localized Mobile Suit Gundam: Battle Operations
DC gets a new PC MOBA for Infinite Crisis, bringing you re-imagined DC superheroes. Mobile Suit Gundam: Battle Operations gets localized for a Southeast Asia release this May.
RuneScape will also see an upgrade with its third installment, moving the platform to HTML 5 to propel the game further.
Your favorite heroes get twisted with MOBA game
DC Entertainment has recently announced a new multiplayer online battle arena game that will hit PCs this year. Infinite Crisis, from developer Turbine who is also responsible for The Lord of the Rings Online, is a free-to-play game that gives you the DC characters in twisted and re-imagined ways.
In the game, you'd also encounter characters like Nightmare Batman and Gaslight Catwoman, who are supposedly alternates of the real deal, reports Stuff.
"The Turbine team is very excited to reveal Infinite Crisis to the world and extend the MOBA genre with new features," said Jeffrey Steefel, Executive Producer of Turbine, to Comic Book Resources.
"We are utilizing years of expereince in the online game space to deliver innovations to the MOBA genre with a game that features fast-paced action, a major story arc, destructible environments, catastrophic events, and a deep roster of iconic DC Comics characters."
RuneScape 3: Upgrading user experience
The latest release serves as a major upgrade of the game, and according to Wired, the developers of RuneScape are going towards the direction of HTML 5 to ensure effectiveness of the campaign.
This brings with it overall improvements in the game, from graphics and performance, to accessibility and engagement with players.
"The way the player interacts with the game, the choices they make, and the relationships they build up within the game actually directs the way we make the game in the future," said RuneScape design director Mark Ogilvie to Wired.
"The choices the players make en masse as a community directs our pen. It makes the whole world feel like much more of a living, breathing environment and gives the players the ability to genuinely contribute to the future of the game."
RuneScape 3 is slated for a summer release, with no confirmations yet regarding price and exact release date.
Southeast Asia to receive Mobile Suit Gundam: Battle Operation
Not to be left behind games and gaming, Sony Computer Entertainment Asia has partnered with Namco Bandai Games in the production and publishing of a Mobile Suit Gundam: Battle Operation that's slated for Singapore, Hong Kong, and Taiwan markets.
GameSpot reports that the game will be localized in the Chinese language and made available through the PlayStation Network for the PS3.
Mobile Suit Gundam: Battle Operation is slated for release this week on March 28, less than a year since the original was released last June.
