The heavily-rumoured iPhone 6 release date is now split between Sept 19 and Sept 25. If reports were true, the iPhone 6 release date for countries outside Asia is set for Sept 19, while countries in Asia, including China will see the iPhone 6 hit the store shelves on Sept 25. However, in the weeks to come, we will get clarity on the aforementioned release dates.

What is New?

During the beginning of this week, there were quite a lot of iPhone 6 design renders leaked from various sources. One such leak showcased the internal components of the upcoming iPhone 6. However, a fresh video from a Chinese site named iFanr, identified by Nowhereelse.fr (via MacRumors) shows much closer look of the rear and the front panels of iPhone 6. In order to showcase the difference, an iPhone 5S model is used in comparison with the next-generation device from Apple. [Scroll down to check out the video.]

According to MacRumors, the front panel of the iPhone 6 features thinner bezels and curved edges, this is completely in-line with the earlier reports suggesting that the iPhone 6 will come with thinner profile and rounded edges. With 4.0-inches iPhone 5S by the side, the 4.7-inches iPhone 6 model looks gigantic in comparison.

In addition to the size, the stark difference between the two smartphones is the location of the front-facing camera unit on the iPhone 6. The camera cavity/hole is re-located to the left side of the earpiece. While, the iPhone 5S houses the primary camera unit in the centre just above the earpiece. Moreover, the video clearly depicts the usage of one-handed operation on the iPhone 6. As per the video, the user is able to reach the sides of the 4.7-inches model easily. However, accessing the bottom and the top of the screen with the use of one-hand seem difficult.

Possible Delay in Production of 5.5-Inches iPhone 6 Model

Even though, rumours pertaining to 4.7-inches iPhone 6 model suggest that the release date would be in September, there is no information available on the 5.5-inches model's release date. Several reports claimed that issues pertaining to production will delay the launch of the 5.5-inches iPhone 6 variant to later this year. According to MacRumors, the launch date could as well move to early 2015. Nevertheless, other set of reports suggest that both the models will be launched together in September.

Apart from the above reports, the 5.5-inches iPhone 6 variant, also known as "iPhone Air", will reportedly come with optical image stabilization (OIS) capability.
