Fujifilm Announces New X-A2 With Selfie-friendly LCD
Fujifilm has announced the new X-A2 which is unique for its self-friendly LCD. It allows the user to tilt the LCD and take a self-portrait. The company has also highlighted the two new lenses that are unique and apt for selfies. The XC16-50mm II and XC50-230mm II gives the user greater ability to take a picture of himself with high quality. It has good features as well.
Tilting LCD
The camera has a compact body that is easy to handle and is user-friendly. Though it is not much different from its predecessor, the X-A1, it still has a major advantage over it. This is due to its unique tilting LCD, with the ability to 175 degrees around its access. It also has a face and eye detection, this makes it possible to take pictures that are well framed. It measures 3 inches with 920k dots and when tilted the Eye Detection AF mode gets activated. It has Auto Macro AF and Multi-Target AF which helps in taking fast and accurate pictures.
New Portrait Enhance Mode
The camera also comes with a new portrait enhance mode which helps make the selfies clicked, even more appealing. The quality is enhanced as well.
Image quality
The X-A2 has is a 16-mega pixel camera, that has a CMOS sensor. The ISO ranges from 200 to 25600, this allows for low light photography and the self-portraits can be taken in low lit areas as well. The advantage being that most selfies are taken in phones that do not give the user this advantage, the camera is a perfect choice for those who want to take a quick picture of themselves.
Video recording
The camera can record Full HD videos at 1080p at 30fps. It also has a burst speed of 5.6 fps while taking pictures. It also has a built-in stereo microphone
Zoom lens
The camera comes with a zoom lens, XC16-50mm II (24-76mm). According to Dp Preview, the lens comprises of, “12 all glass elements in 10 groups including 3 aspherical elements and 1 ED element. The lens features seven round-edged aperture blades, which offer 17 stops in 1/3 EV increments for precise aperture control.” It can be used to click portraits and landscapes and is best for low light images.
The FUJIFILM X-A2 standard kit (XC16-50mm II) will be available for purchase from February. It will be available in three colours, silver, white and brown and will cost USD $549.95.
