Fuse Nexus and Motorola Tech, We Get Nexus 5 X-Phone on Release Date [Concept Phone]
What device would come out in the event Google marries the Nexus and X-Phone technologies? It leads to a powerful but minimalist handset that will assume the name Nexus 5 X-Phone on release date, based on a new concept.
A creation by DeviantArt member 96Design, the render welcomes the fusion of the well-loved Nexus device model and the overly-anticipated Motorola X-Phone, creating a smartphone that exudes Google's principle.
This device highlights a clear profile on back and front, with the phone screen actually eating 85 per cent of the frontside, giving just enough room to accommodate the phone speaker and from cam sensor on the top portion and the phone mic at the bottom part.
The viewing delight is a 4.8-inch Full HD screen that competes will top rivals like the HTC One, the Samsung Galaxy S4 and the LG Optimus G Pro.
The quad-core CPU hums away at a top-speed of 2.0GHz but 96Design defers to Google on the brand choice so it could be Tegra class by NVIDIA or the Snapdragon kind by Qualcomm. The chip taps on a 2GB of RAM, giving it sufficient power for a speedy performance.
On the camera department, the render offers a main snapper that relies on a 13MP sensor, mixed with 5MP front cam. Together, the Nexus 5 X-Phone cam package is wet dream even for shooting professionals - able to produce quality clips and images without requiring too much of a talent.
It is a given that the power beneath this lean monster is Key Lime Pie, which Google will surely unleash anytime after its developers gathering on late May.
Embedded with its minimalist adherence are cool stuffs like the LED notification that flashes various colour alerts, depending on the nature of the message that the handset is calling attention to.
It also sports the revered Google logo resting in the otherwise clear back portion of the phone. The camera lens is ringed by Nexus pattern and beside it is the X-Phone branding, signifying the official union of Google's two hardware names.
If ever, this handset will make its way to consumers' hand by late Q3 2013 with the same pricing seen with the Nexus 4 last year, which starts at $US299.
