Samsung intends to rollout its new phablet, the Galaxy Note 3, with the most advanced and powerful chip architecture but the device will have to skip Google's Key Lime Pie, at least a few months after its release date.

In a photo provided by Samsung-centric blog site SamMobile, the Note 3 was shown side-by-side with what appeared as the recently issued Galaxy S4, underscoring the fact that global consumers are getting a bigger smartphone come its rumoured release date later this year.

The report also revealed important specs, including the supposed Note 3's model number, which is i9500. It was noted, however, that the Galaxy Note series always comes with the letter N so there is a high probably that the image refers to a different Galaxy handset that will be seen also this year.

Regardless, the gadget in spotlight will reportedly flex a sufficient mix of muscle, specifically the Exynos 5410 Octa that is actually the tandem between a A15 processor clocked at 2.0 GHz and a A7 processor at 1.7 GHz.

Designed in-house by Samsung engineers, this CPU will tap into a 3GB of RAM, ensuring that consumers will get a snappy phablet experience by September or October this year.

The phone screen is 5.9-inch and should carry on with the HD Super AMOLED display technology that Samsung had unveiled earlier on March via the GS4. The same report does not contradict with earlier suggestions that the Note 3 will showcase a flexible front screen, giving the oversized smartphone extra durability.

The same screen component could also be merged with Sharp's IGZO display technology, with the acquired higher sensitivity to complement the Note 3's enhanced S-Pen stylus technology.

While most of the specs that came with the leaked image are welcomed by blog reports, the JellyBean was somewhat a letdown considering that Key Lime Pie should have been out by the time the Note is out in the market, which experts said will be on Q4 2013.
