Another report from You Mobile claims that Galaxy Note 8.0 tablet that was released in April 2013 will not receive the Android Lollipop update. It means that users of Note 8.0 tablets will be stuck on Android 4.4 KitKat.
Because of the hardware limitation of the Note 8 tablet, its owners will not be provided with Android Lollipop updates. According to Sam Mobile, Samsung Gulf states that the Lollipop featuring TouchWiz skin will not run smoothly on the Note 8.0 tablet.
The Android 6.0 Marshmallow will be arriving for the Galaxy Note 5, the Galaxy S6 Edge+, the Galaxy S6, the Galaxy S6 Edge, the Galaxy Note 4, and the Galaxy Note Edge. The Duos models of Galaxy S6 and Note 4 along with the Galaxy Tab A tablet are also poised to receive the update, stated another GSM Arena report.
