Early this month, the Samsung Galaxy S4 Android 4.4 KitKat update was leaked for the model GT-19505. This leak particularly indicates that the official Android 4.4 KitKat update is coming very soon. As a matter of fact, the Android 4.4 KitKat update is rumoured to roll out for the Galaxy S4 by the end of January, which could be true especially that the Galaxy Note 3 is already receiving the software in various regions.

Recently, XDA-Developers by Designgears released an Android 4.4.2 KitKat firmware for AT&T with a build number I337UCUFMLD and a build date of January 2.

In the past weeks, Samsung is quite busy updating the Galaxy S4 international variants to the Android 4.4.2 KitKat and although U.S. carriers are known to run late in terms of OTA update parties, it appears that the AT&T will update its Samsung Galaxy S4 to the Android 4.4.2 right after the release of the firmware update for the international model.

There is no official release just yet but we are talking about a leaked build for the AT&T Galaxy S4 variant, which is labelled I337UCUFMLD. This build brings similar enhancements with the update that rolled out for the international variant of the Galaxy S4. This Android 4.4.2 I337UCUFMLD leaked build for AT&T Samsung Galaxy S4 can be flashed just like any other official ROM.

How to Download the Galaxy S4 Android 4.4 KitKat Firmware

If you have already tried to flash official ROMs in the past, you basically know the drill. First, you need to download the I337UCUFMLD ZIP file, which has 1.51GB. Second, connect your Galaxy S4 device to your computer via USB and then you launch Odin > load the ZIP file in PDA/AP > Click start.

The visual changes that come with the update are not quite significant, except for the transparent status bar and the white status bar icons. Apart from the visual changes, the update also comes with the new immersive mode and the new printing option in the settings area.
