Arkam finally gets a follow-up after its two hit games. Fuse has also revealed the release dates of its demo game and the actual game selling date.

Those who are looking forward to Naughty Dog's The Last of Us will also get a sneak preview of how the developers have created the barren but beautiful wasteland that can be seen in the game.

Arkham series gets a third game

The third installment of the Arkham series has finally been announced, and it's featuring another DC character outside the Batman territory.

EuroGamer reports that Deathstroke will be debuting in the Arkham series, for the now-titled Batman: Arkham Origins. And it seems like Batman will be pitted against the Black Mask, in a setting that's far bigger than Arkham City.

Aside from the action and adventure, Origins is looking at detective missions and cases for Batman, adding stealth to the usual combat gameplay.

For the Nintendo 3DS and the PS Vita, there is also a spin-off game currently in development, entitled Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate, slated to release alongside the Origins game on October 25.

Batman: Arkham Origins will be released for the PS3, Wii U, Xbox 360, and the PC, but there is no word yet on whether or not a version will be made for next-gen consoles.

The Last of Us shows off a beautiful wasteland

There's more to the story than just another post-apocalypse adventure, and it comes in the form of the environment that's just as much alive as its characters are, as seen in the latest developer diary for The Last of Us.

"The Last of Us has been a story of contrast. It's some pretty dark themes, but they're juxtaposed against an aesthetic that we find very beautiful," said creative director Neil Druckmann. "There's something really pretty about nature reclaiming its domain once we are gone."

The Naughty Dog team showcases now just the emotions running through the idea of a world lost, desolate, and neglected, but also connecting it to the emotions that run through the scenes before you.

And the beautiful wasteland pretty much speaks for itself, but in this trailer, you can see just how much the team has devoted in the design, from the general concept to the very detail of the color of the foliage.

It's just the second episode for the diary series of The Last of Us. Hopefully there will be more before the game's launch on June 14.
