In anticipation of GTA 5, two GTA PSP originals are now out in the PS Store for PS2. Xbox Live has also released BattleBlock Theater, the biggest game from developer The Behemoth. And both platforms are readying for the release of Dynasty Warriors 8.

Before GTA 5: GTA PSP originals hit PS Store

GTA 5 may still be far off, but it PlayStation players can enjoy two PSP title originals this week, as GTA Liberty City Stories and Vice City Stories hits the PS Store, reports Computer and Video Games.

Liberty Stories explores the turmoil and gang-fights of Liberty City, with Toni taking the lead to clean up crime while dealing with the hit men, tycoons, politicians, and even family members who get in his way.

Vice City Stories puts you in the shoes of Vic Vance,, a soldier who has to face an ultimate decision: create his own empire or be crushed by it.

Keep checking for new GTA content any day this week for these titles. DLCentral adds that Rockstar Games may be gearing up for more title releases for the PS 2 Classics collection, so that's also something to tune in for.

BattleBlock Theater is now out on Xbox Live

From developer The Behemoth, BattleBlock Theater is finally making its way to the Xbox Live at $15 or 1,200MP. It's a co-op game that involves jumping, gem hunting, and evading technologically-modified-to-be-evil cats, reports DLCentral.

Digital Spy adds that with BattleBlock Theater being The Behemoth's largest game to date, players can unlock more than 2000 character combos, get a lot of weapons, and use this for four-player co-op online battles.

As an added bonus, The Behemoth is also including add-ons from its previous games, Alien Hominid and Castle Crushers, for those who would be availing the game.

For those with the Alien Hominid HD can get a free alien for the game, while those who have the full version of Castle Crashers will get a Castle Crashers knight for BBT use.

Great way to promote a new game and past games-why didn't other developers think of that before?

Dynasty Warriors 8 released in Europe in July

Here's a game that gives you power to control history-or at least aim to see the consequences if you rewrite it.

EuroGamer reports that Dynasty Warriors 8 involves multiple endings, a sort of create your own adventure, that pose the possibility of allowing historical characters from the Romance of the Three Kingdoms to live on for more battles.

Some of the characters you'd encounter include Li Dian and Yue Jin, among the 70 playable characters in the game.

Dynasty Warriors 8 is slated for released on July 12 in Europe and July 16 in North America for the PS3 and Xbox 360.
