'Game of Thrones' Season 6 spoilers: Major characters have a 'tense' meeting in Winterfell
Details about the characters involved in a scene in “Game of Thrones” Season 6 have been revealed in a new report. The characters will reportedly have a “tense” meeting in Winterfell.
[Spoiler alert]
According to a report by Watchers On The Wall, a source has revealed that Jon Snow (Kit Harington), Sansa Stark (Sophie Turner), Ramsay Bolton (Iwan Rheon) and Petyr Baelish (Aidan Gillen) will be having a meeting at Winterfell. Rehearsals for the scene have reportedly taken place already and the scene is expected to be filmed this week.
The characters will be talking at the courtyard of the castle, when a giant will apparently try and force his way into the gates of the castle. Soldiers will try and stop the giant from entering. It is still not clear if the giant in question is Wun Wun.
Sansa was attempting to escape from Winterfell in the previous season, along with Theon Greyjoy (Alfie Allen); who is now known as Reek. The report does not mention the presence of Reek or Ramsay’s father Roose Bolton (Michael McElhatton). The popular fantasy TV series is known for its shocking twists and unexpected deaths. New characters will also be introduced in “Game of Thrones” Season 6.
One of the most talked about cast member, who will be seen for the first time in the show next year, is Ian McShane. The producers have so far not revealed the name of the character that the veteran actor will be playing in the show. The actor is expected to play an important character on the show, but will be appearing in only one episode in the next season.
A report by Vulture speculates that McShane will be playing the role of Septon Meribald, a character from the book series “A Song of Ice and Fire.” The actor has teased that his character will be involved in bringing an unexpected character back to life in “Game of Thrones” Season 6. The report speculates that this could be either Catelyn Stark (Michelle Fairley) or Sandor Clegane (Rory McCann).
