‘Game of Thrones’ season 6 star Nathalie Emmanuel not invited at ‘Hollyoaks’ 20th anniversary
Aside from sharing some “Game of Thrones” season 6 spoilers, Nathalie Emmanuel recently revealed that she has not been invited at the upcoming 20th anniversary of “Hollyoaks.” She played Sasha Valentine in the British soap opera from 2007 to 2010.
Recently, Emmanuel told Metro at the V Festival in Chelmsford, Essex, that she did not know about the 20th anniversary celebrations of the Channel 4 soap opera “Hollyoaks.” She said, “No, I haven’t been asked. But I’m sure whatever they do, it’ll be great.”
In “Hollyoaks,” Emmanuel’s character Sasha Valentine is the sister of Calvin (Ricky Whittle). Having spiralled into prostitution and drug addiction, the character fell for bad boy Warren Fox (Jamie Lomas).
After “Hollyoaks,” Emmanuel played bit roles in TV series “Casualty” and “Misfits.” In 2013, she joined the cast of the HBO series “Game of Thrones” playing the character Missandrei, a slave freed when Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) overthrew the slavers through the Unsullied army.
Also at the V Festival, Emmanuel also shared some “Game of Thrones” season 6 spoilers. She said Peter Dinklage, who plays Tyrion Lannister, is great in the upcoming season of the HBO series and there are many things fans are not going to expect.
In addition, Emmanuel said that in “Game of Thrones” season 6, there are characters interacting although they previously had not. She commented, “We had a bit of that last season, but it gets bigger in season six. I’m loving season six.”
About the fate of Jon Snow (Kit Harington), who was killed off in the finale of the previous season, Emmanuel refused to comment. Instead, she just said she wants viewers to watch “Game of Thrones” season 6 and find out.
In another interview with Digital Spy, Emmanuel said the sixth season of the HBO series based on George R.R. Martin’s novels has a lot of momentum. She also confirmed that fans will be seeing more characters.
