'Game of Thrones' Star Maisie Williams celebrates 1M followers on Twitter by launching her own YouTube channel

“Game of Thrones” (“GOT”) cast member Maisie Williams (Arya Stark) has launched her own YouTube channel to celebrate the milestone of getting one million followers on her Twitter account. In her first video on the channel, the actress answered a few questions from the fans and shared details about her life.

Williams’ YouTube channel has been verified and already has over 82,000 subscribers. In the first video , the “GOT” actress said that she would share things in this channel that would make her laugh. She will also use it to upload videos of sketches as well as her various ideas. The actress is doing this as an outlet for her creative juices.

Maisie answered a few questions from the fans and hoped that this would help viewers know more about her. The first question was whether she cried anytime while watching “Game of Thrones.” The actress recalled an emotional scene of Ygritte (Rose Leslie) saying her trademark dialogue “You know nothing, Jon Snow.”

Williams’ fellow cast member on “Game of Thrones” Sophie Turner (Sansa Stark), appears to have helped the actress with her first video and can be heard commenting briefly in it. Viewers get a glimpse of Turner as she answers a question from one of the “GOT” fans asking what she smells like. Turner said that she smells like “heaven.”

Maisie was later asked about Caspar Lee, an active vlogger and actor who also has his own YouTube channel with over five million subscribers. Williams said that Lee was the main reason why she decided to start her channel and thanked him for showing her the ropes.

Williams has appeared in one of the videos of Lee’s channel. Lee complimented Williams on his Twitter page for launching a new YouTube channel. In his tweet , the vlogger said that he was “proud” of the actress for launching her own channel.

The actress also revealed that she has a boyfriend, but chose not share more details about who he is. Williams feels that her friendships have changed after becoming famous. She said that she has now realised that friendships are more about quality rather than quantity.

Williams revealed a spoiler related to her character in “Game of Thrones” and talked about what happens to her towards the end of Season 5. Sharing some details about her childhood, the actress also said that when she was little her nickname was “green giant.”
