Gaming News: Xbox One Tops December Sales; Call of Duty: Ghosts Xbox Update; J-Stars Victory Vs Villains Join In
Though the console wars are now raging on with regard to upcoming games and exclusives, the count for sales for both the Xbox One and PS4 consoles have not yet declined. And in the latest update, it seems that Microsoft's Xbox One has managed to snag the lead in the U.S. before 2013 ended.
In the latest count, CVG reports that the Xbox One has managed to sell 908,000 in December, making it the top-selling console in the U.S. last December 2013.
"We're grateful for the excitement and support of our fans--many purchasing their next Xbox console and many joining the Xbox family for the first time," said Yusuf Mehdi, Xbox corporate VP for marketing, strategy and business in an interview quoted by CVG.

In addition, the sales figure for the PS4 had allegedly put it in the lead by combining all of its sales, with the plague of shorts with stocks still ongoing as Sony continues to try and provide for the demand.
The findings originate from the data collected by the NPD Group, though the PS4 is still seen as a very strong contender for two months in a row and counting.
"The newest consoles from Microsoft and Sony are off to a tremendous start. Xbox One led consoles sales in December, while PlayStation 4's two-month total makes it the best-selling console during the two-month launch window, "said NPD analyst Liam Callahan in an interview quoted by Slashgear.

Call of Duty: Ghosts Xbox 360 fix already out
Hot on the heels of its rival Battlefield 4, Call of Duty: Ghosts has also just recently released an update for the Xbox 360 to fix crash bugs for broadcasting the game.
The latest update according to Infinity Ward ensures Broadcaster mode stability, restrictions for Ghuillie suits, Tracker Sights and Danger Close in competitive rules, disabling of third-person spectating in competitive Private Matches, and the addition of a kill feed to Broadcaster mode.

J-Stars Victory Vs now getting bad guys
After announcing a myriad of shonen heroes, J-Stars Victory Vs, the game commemorating Weekly Shonen Jump's 45th anniversary, the bad guy are now joining the bandwagon in some of the more popular mangas.
Anime News Network reports that six main playable characters and one support will be available in time for the March 19 release of the game on the PS3 and PS Vita in Japan.
Among these new characters includes Bleach's Sosuke Aizen, the younger Toguro brother from Yu Yu Hakusho, Naruto's Madara Uchiha, Freeza from Dragon Ball Z, One Piece's Akainu and Shishio from Rurouni Kenshin will form the playable roster of villains, with Hunter x Hunter's Hisoka as support.
Aside from this, there has also been a report that Kakashi and Sakura from Naruto will be making an appearance in the game's adventure mode. Other Jump characters may also be spotted in the quests.
