PS4 News: No PS4 Firmware Update For Light Bar, DriveClub Delayed, 4K TV Support Unlikely, Don’t Starve DLC Teased
As currently posted from Shuhei Yoshida on his Twitter account, he replied a fan's query regarding the light bar on the PS4's DualShock 4. The controller emits a blue light that keeps in touch with the PlayStation Camera.
With Sony never bundled the PlayStation Camera with PS4 and most people are not really grabbing the chance to get one, many users are bothered that you can't turn it off or even dim it.
Also, Yoshida has announced that there's no PS4 firmware coming that would fix the issue. But on the up side, gamers who have been frustrated about the light bar potentially sapping away the battery, Yoshida responded, "The LEDs do not use much battery."

Videogamer has reported that Sony has made an announcement for the PS4 release date of the game is coming. "The team at Evolution Studios are working hard to bring DriveClub, a truly next-gen driving experience to PS4 and the release date to be rolled out shortly," Sony's official statement said.
Combining this with a recent report from Kotaku, which reported DriveClub may still miss the Feb. 22 release date of the PS4 in Japan, it could mean that the early 2014 release date for Drive Club may point to a March release at the earliest.

4K TV Not A Possibility For PS4, Xbox One?
Because you may be getting a next-gen console doesn't mean you have to get the latest in TV technology, especially if you're thinking of using it for games.
A report from Business Insider said a 4K TV, which is set to take the market by storm later this year, may not mean anything when you're playing games on the PS4 or Xbox One.
Apparently, despite the 1080p quality of videogames, PS4 and Xbox One gaming won't look any different whether you're playing it in your old TV and 4K TV set. Even with the advanced technology used for the PS4 and Xbox One, it seems that the output required for normal 4K TV is not easily met, resulting in potential choppy visuals that will only mess with the gaming experience.
