More details on the Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag has been revealed, the latest being the spyglass for its lead character Edward for its next-gen PS4 and Xbox 720 consoles.

According to The Examiner, the spyglass tool allows players to reconnaissance on an enemy's ship, including the treasures and strengths for better strategies before the battle confrontation. This way, it's not all about slashing your way through the enemy's guards, but knowing when to bring down the right strike.

Aside from the new tool, PC Gamer reports that, regarding the design, gamers are looking at a unique set for the latest installment.

"It'll be the most different Assassin's Creed game in terms of world structure," said Jean Guesden, creative director to PC Gamer. "We're not dealing with a few large maps, but with one gigantic hub. You can go wherever you want with your ship and explore these locations."

And part of the exploration the nastiest hindrance you can find in the seas: pirates. Rival pirates, navies from different counties that patrol the waters-your exploration is not just about taking in sights but being taken in by battles and maybe taking some booty as well.

You'll also encounter an enemy vessel that makes use of speed and maneuverability that can ram into ship. This pertains to the mix of enemies, but inanimate and men, that can be encountered in the game.

SimCity Update 2.0 brings a bevy of fixes and updates

For those on the watch with their SimCity, EA has already released an official announcement that it will bring down its servers for a few hours starting 1p.m. on April 22 PST to apply the Update 2.0.

According to the official SimCity blog, among the new additions include the Mayors Mansion to allow mayors do drive limos or fly choppers to work.

An HDU mode, also known as colorblind mode, is now able to color-correct accordingly. And there is now a data map that shows filtered color for every time it is enabled.

The list of fixes and updates are even longer, and includes the more major ones such as cities that are not processing, invitations that are not sent or received, and fixes for transit and education issues.

Among the minor fixes include audio and demolition fixes.

Considering the progress of fixes in the game-many systems are still broken, and those that aren't still seemed jammed, lagged, or slowed down, as per PC Mag-it seems that the long list of updates may take a while to fix, but the end product should at least compensate for it.

"As you can see from the list [of fixes], the wait will be worth it," according to the official statement. Hopefully, this is also how SimCity players see the update and the actual game itself.
