Professional English rugby league footballer George Burgess is making the headlines once again after slipping the charges hurled against him over smashed car windows in Cairns. The young footballer has taken the Twitterverse by storm, however, when his two nude selfies have made its way to the social media network until it finally landed a men’s gay porn site.

This prompted search about the English hunk NRL player. But what do we really know about George Burgess? And what would prompt him to post a photo of himself looking gorgeous, yes, but rude for some as he gives the head to his “loud self”?

Here are the top things to know about George Burgess:

1. He is known as “Gorgeous” George.
The star of the South Sydney Rabbitohs has often been referred to as “Gorgeous” George for his good looks. The 21-year old hunk however, has proven to be deserving of his “title’ without a doubt, as he is good in the field as he is with the ladies.

2. He keeps his personal life “super private.”
As much as George loves to show off himself “head on,” the England-born rugby player keeps his “personal life” private. He’s not very open about his relationships and never talks about his girlfriend and relationship status.

3. He has a twin brother, Tom
George gas been getting a lot of attention lately for his nude selfie posted on Twitter. But if there’s someone who has taken a free ride in his very naked self portrait is his twin brother Tom.

@mummywalmsley: @petejw74 "see I am learning about as much as I can about Rugby League. I googled George Burgess today and he has a twin brother #packedlunch"
@rickeyre: "So how do we know it wasn't Tom Burgess taking a photo of George, and/or vice versa?"

4. He and twin brother Tom, make a dream team with other older brothers Sam and Luke - - all NRL players for South Sydney Rabbitohs.

Hitting balls run in George’s family. As if it was not enough that twin brothers George and Tom to be a dream team for South Sydney Rabbitohs, they are playing for the league with their two older brothers, Sam and Luke.

What a family portrait! Check out the brothers looking hot and sexy wearing the same rugby uniform. Photo can be found here.

5. He has his share of brush ups with the laws
Before hitting the headlines following his nude Twitter-selfie, George had been embroiled with some legal problems. He recently avoided court when only fined $10,000 over the car-smashing incident in Cairns. The charges against him have been dropped and his South Sydney Rabbitohs has continued to stand by him. He was also banned from the game because of the incident. The young player is also required to submit himself to anger management program because of the smashing incident. He will also not escape 50-hour community support work through South Cares.

“George accepts he’s done the wrong thing and that there has to be a price,” the chief executive for Rabbitohs Shane Richardson was quoted as saying by the Daily Telegraph-AU, adding, “For someone on his contract level it is a big price to pay and he still has to deal with the issue in court.”

The official then expressed support for the Rabbitohs star.

“We will support him because he has faced up to what he has done and because this isn’t reflective of his general behaviour at the club,” Richardson also said.

“Everyone is going to have to get the message though that the NRL is going to stay strong on these issues and that the clubs will support that stance without exception.”

The league has remained mum about George’s two nude “selfies” that have been circulating online - - from Twitter to men’s gay porn Web site.
