Reports suggest that the much anticipated Haswell-based MacBook Pro is in product already. Apple has been setting the stage for the release of the product. Resellers and distribution channels have also been trying to sell their remaining stocks possibly in preparation for the new inventory. Will the new MacBook Pros be announced on the September 10 event alongside the new iPhone?

EMSOne reported that Taiwanese manufacturers have started to ship and distribute components for the latest MacBook Pro. The newest generation will be based on Haswell processors - Intel's fourth generation of chips. EMSOne is a Hong Kong-based supply chain monitor.

Intel debuted their Haswell architecture back at the WWDC 2013. The chip was featured through the MacBook Air. The primary goal of the processor is to deliver an enhanced transistor supporting better manufacturing processes which in turn helps the devices use power more efficiently. Users can expect more computational performance and longer battery life.

Similar to the Ivy Bridge, Intel used 22-nanometer process to manufacture the Haswell chips.

Based on Apple's 2013 MacBook Air, Haswell delivered considerable power savings. Laptops using its architecture can have better and longer computing hours. People have more battery life reducing the time and effort needed to charge their devices. Despite featuring similar battery capacity as models in 2013, the 2013 MacBook Air can function longer on a charge. This means the 13-inch model provides five hours more of battery life when it runs on Haswell. The 11-inch model, on the other hand, can operate for four more hours.

Haswell-based MacBook Pros are also reported to have exceptional graphics. Benchmarks indicated that the tech giant will be using Intel's Iris Pro 5200 GPU to power the Pro's graphics. The Iris Pro is Intel's top-of-the-line integrated graphics option. The graphics component intends to rival GPUs under AMD and NVIDIA.

As for a hard-disk based and non-Retina MacBook Pro, the market will have to watch out for Apple's announcements as these remain unclear. Whereas analysts do not expect Apple to stop manufacturing any of the models, there are no official reports yet indicating which specific models will have a refreshed stock.

In line of the anticipation for the new MacBook Pros, Apple released a theatrical trailer of the upcoming model. While this is something new from the company, it does signify the company's strategy to change its market approach.
