Gigi Hadid And Cody Simpson Remain Hangout Buddies After Breakup
Gigi Hadid and Cody Simpson may have already broke up and went their separate ways, the two are still cordial, if not close to each other. The two are said to be still hanging out because they care for each other greatly.
E Online caught up with Cody’s sister Alli at the Ovarian Cancer Research Funds Super Sunday event held in Los Angeles and got some insider news on how things are between the freshly-broken up couple. According to the sister, the two are still very much close to each other and she, as Cody’s sister still hangs with the two just like before. "We're all still hanging out," she shared. "We're super close and all care about each other immensely."
The two recently broke up because they wanted to focus on their respective careers. Gigi’s representative said the model needed the time and space to focus on her budding career. Gigi reportedly wanted the same for Cody – the time and space to focus on his music career. Breaking up does not mean they love each other less. The rep added that they still love each other deeply and personally wish that a reconciliation can happen in the future after they both grown “in their won paths.” The statement also made it clear that the two have no hard feelings for each other. Gigi and Cody are also said to be each other’s “biggest supporters.”
This is not the first time that Alli spoke up about her brother and Gigi’s relationship. She once told E! at the Nylon and BCBGeneration’s Young Hollywood party that she is so fond of the couple and that she does not rule out marriage for them in the future. Just weeks before the breakup, Alli said the couple looks like they are in it for good and the only thing left is marriage. Alli also said the two bring out the best in each other.
Just last month and prior to breaking up as well, Cody personally told Huffpost that their schedules were hard to work around but they both have high dedication to make it work. They also tried to stay out of the spotlight.
