Gigi Hadid celebrated her birthday 20th birthday on April 23, but before her birthday almost a week ahead she celebrated with her musician boyfriend Cody Simpson and her friends and family members. The party took place at The Nice Guy in West Hollywood, California on April 17, according to E Online. The very private event saw the participation of Cody Simpson, his sister Alli Simpson, Gigi’s dad Mohamed Hadid and her brother Anwar Hadid.

The party that started at 9 pm went on till 2 am. Some guests documented the celebration on Instagram with the hashtag #OMGigi. The room was decorated with huge balloons with “Gigi” written over it. The custom made cake on the occasion had the model’s picture on it. Gigi looked beautiful in an embroidered jumpsuit by Blue Life.

Surprisingly, Gigi asked for some tasty McDonalds gift cards as gifts from Cody. “For my bday I asked for @McDonalds (or other food) gift cards to keep in wallet to give to those I pass on the streets of NYC & elsewhere that are in need of a meal. I don't always carry cash & it's nice to know it'll be put to good use,” she captioned a picture on Instagram.

But on her birthday she was busy doing a swimwear shoot for Seafolly in Miami. The 20-year-old blonde was pictured wearing a denim bikini worn under a loose-fitting denim shirt flaunting her toned body. Another picture shows her looking at camera while wearing a bright red and white polka dot shorts and bikini top combo.

Gigi shared a picture on Instagram showing three bunches of flowers, cards and a cake. She wrote that she felt blessed and loved on her birthday saying that even in a hotel, people have made her feel at home. Younger sister Bella Hadid wished her elder sibling with a photo montage and a sweet message. Even her mom Yolanda Foster of “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” fame and her boyfriend Cody gave a shout out to her.
