Titled “Girls Meets Goodbye,” Disney Channel has aired the last episode of “Girl Meets World” last month. Although the network has opted to cancel the show, talks about "Girl Meets World" season 4 are rampant. Corey Fogelmanis (Farkle) has talked about “Riarkle” romance, which fans can look forward to if the series will be renewed for a fourth season.

Fogelmanis has admitted that he was actually having second thoughts about “Riarkle” romance. In “Girls Meets Goodbye,” it was made to appear that Farkle has decided to turn things into friendship instead of having a romantic relation with Riley (Rowan Blanchard).

“Not every relationship between a guy and a girl has to be romantic,” the actor has explained. Fans can recall that he and Riley have ended up as friends in “Girls Meets Goodbye.”

The “Riarkle” tandem, the names of Riley and Farkle combined, remained to be a great friendship in “Girl Meets World” season 3. But since the show might find its new home network, there is a possibility that the friendship could bud as a romance. Since Disney Channel has young viewers, it was understandable that Riley and Farkle remained friends in the last season.

In real life, Fogelmanis and Blanchard are known to be good friends. In one of his Instagram posts, the latter has posted a photo of him with his co-star, saying he is proud of Blanchard. Both of them are currently busy with other projects as Fogelmanis is bound to star in an off-Broadway production called “Dog Sees God: Confessions of a Teenage Blockhead” while Blanchard is cast for “A Wrinkle in Time.”

If the series is picked up by a different network, the show will have a chance to tackle mature topics. After all, the characters are growing up and they’re bound to face more mature situations in their lives.

As for the last episode of “Girls Meets World,” Fogelmanis said it is cool to get to watch the “Boy Meets World” cast in a reunion. “It was really exciting having the Morgans on the show,” Fogelmanis says. “Not only was it both of them so it was cool getting to watch them reunite with everybody else,” he told TV Line.

Part of “Girls Meets Goodbye” was the reunion of original “Boy Meets World” cast members. They have come together to help Topanga (Danielle Fishel) make an important life decision, which was whether or not to move the family to London for a job. The reunion includes both actresses who played Cory’s (Ben Savage) sister Morgan in “Boy Meets World,” Lily Nicksay (Seasons 1–2) and Lindsay Ridgeway (Seasons 3–7).

Fogelmanis has also starred in “Mostly Ghostly 3: One Night in Doom House.” Based on its IMDb profile, he is interested in the world of theatre, television, and photography. He has starred in the production of “Peter Pan and Tinker Bell” at The Pasadena Playhouse in Southern California. “Girl Meets World” aired in Australia through Disney Channel.
