SimCity Games on Facebook will make their last bow before Q2 ends. But they're not alone as Skyrim also bid goodbye after a 2-year run.

On a positive note, two games-one planned, one already in production-are said to be replacing the experience of Skyrim and bringing back a re-imagined well-loved classic game this year.

The end of Skyrim

Skyrim's no more as Bethesda Game Studios announces that aside from just having minor updates for the game, there will no longer be any more DLCs as they close the chapter on Skyrim.

"Parts of our team have also been in pre-production on our next major project, and that game is at the point where it requires the studio's full attention to make it our biggest and best work yet," according to the Bethesda Game Studios statement as quoted from EuroGamer.

This new project is looking to be Fallout 4. The game not only was already planned before as a continuation of the Fallout series, but was also tagged as a very profitable game.

For the meantime, there have been no official announcements on what the future plans of Bethesda Game Studios would be. However, if there is a planned release that's already in the works, it's safe to say that these would probably come out in the next-gen platforms and the PC.

EA shuts down SimCity Games on Facebook

It seems that Facebook will have fewer games before the second quarter of the year is over.

Forbes reports that Electronic Arts will be shutting down three of its previously popular games, The Sims Social, SimCity Social, and Pet Society.

This is due mostly to the declining number of players who pay for the game, as well as the fact that there are really no longer a lot of people who play the game. However, EA is not alone in the declining trend of social games as its major competitor, Zynga, has also experienced shutdowns of games.

If you're one of the few players who still check on these games every once in a while, you have the chance to enjoy these games until June 14 before the three games go offline. Make sure to spend all you in-game currency as refunds will not be provided

Castle of Illusion gets a remake

Mickey Mouse and the Castle of Illusion will have a re-imagined version in HD, to be released by Sega Studios Australia.

"We have been working very closely with the director of the original game, who is now at Disney Interactive," said Sega Studios Australia's development team to Kotaku.

"If you have played the original game, you will also see that we have kept intact many of the major iconic elements of the game that helped define this groundbreaking game at the time of its original release."

Earlier this month, Sega Studios Australia was reported to be shutting down later this year, so Castle of Illusion remake may be one of its last projects.

The remake will be available to download for Xbox Live Arcade, the PlayStation Network, and PC, and is slated for a summer release.

Injustice in UK for the game delay?

Wii U players in Europe will have to wait until next week, April 26, to get their hands on Injustice: Gods Among Us. In addition, the Wii U version still doesn't offer the season pass or the special edition of the game, reports EuroGamer.

As for the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions, its UK arrival is still slated for the April 19 release.
